Terms and Conditions

Registration and Switches:
You will receive an email within 1 to 14 days after registering that confirms your class placement. We strongly urge you to list a second choice during registration in case your first choice is full. Class size is limited. To be added to the wait list for a full class, please select "yes" to "Waitlist OK?" on the registration form. If your fist choice class is full, and you are added to the wait list for it, you will be enrolled in your second choice class and will have a guaranteed spot in that second choice class. If you do not select a second choice class, you will be put on a wait list but you will not have a guaranteed spot. Class times and teachers are subject to change. Classes that do not reach a minimum of 6 registrants may be cancelled. Unrelated children must be registered separately. Switches will only be considered during the first three weeks of the semester. We cannot switch you to a class that is full or has a wait list.

Illness:
We ask that families stick to the 24 hour rule. You and your child must not have had an incidence of fever or vomiting for 24 hours before attending class. In the interest of immune-compromised students, and children who may not yet be old enough to be fully vaccinated, we ask that if you have been exposed to flu or any other infectious disease that you adhere to standard medical guidelines for how long you should wait before returning to class. Visit our make-up scheduler to arrange for a time to visit class once you are well. 

Makeups:
Each registered child is allowed unlimited makeups during the semester. Makeups must be scheduled in advance using our online make-up scheduler. If you cannot attend a scheduled makeup, please cancel your reservation so others may use the space. Siblings under 9 months old do not need to be registered for a makeup and may attend with their registered older sibling.

Guests:
While adult guests are always welcome to come and participate, older siblings must be pre-arranged with the teacher. Older siblings of a registered child may visit class once for free, after which there will be a $15 charge for each visit, subject to the teacher's pre-approval and payable either in advance or at the start of class. If you have a friend who wants to visit a class, please refer them to our website to register for a free demonstration class.

Discounts:
Discounts and promotions cannot be applied retroactively. Discounts for multiple children apply only to siblings registered in the same class.  Infants under 9 months of age at the start of class may attend free with a paid sibling. If you have trouble with a discount code, contact us for assistance.

Cancellations and Refunds:
You may cancel your registration for any reason up to 48 hours before your first class. You will be refunded your tuition minus a $45 cancellation fee and the new family registration fee, if applicable.  We regret we cannot offer any refunds after that period. 

New Family Registration Fee:
Each new family will be charged a non-refundable $20 registration fee. Returning families with an active enrollment within the past 12 months will not be charged this fee.

Materials:
Each registered family receives one professionally recorded CD, a beautifully-illustrated songbook with family activity suggestions, a special code for the Family Music Zone where you can download the semester's music from our global Music Together® website, and a quarterly e-newsletter featuring activity suggestions and other fun features. First-time families also receive a parent guide, "Music And Your Child". There are 9 different collections rotated over a period of 3 years. Receiving curriculum materials is not optional. Each family has one registration fee and receives only one set of materials no matter how many siblings register.
